At this year’s edition of the Douglas Research Centre competition, Maria Zimmermann (PhD student supervised by Gustavo Turecki and Corina Nagy) won first place in the Outreach challenge for her talk, “Bridging the Gap Between Nature and Nurture: The Epigenome”. Zoey Chapman (MSc student supervised by Massimiliano Orri) won first place in the Media challenge for her talk, “The Dark Side of Uncertainty”. Both have been selected to represent the Douglas and compete at the Quebec Science POP grand final on April 17-18, 2026.
